Bishop Eric Benjamin, had invited the Sisters of Notre Dame to take over the Primary school, which was run by the Bethany Sisters of Mangalore. In 1984 Sr Anupa and Sr Mary Smitha arrived in Darjeeling. The school was opened in 1985.They have classes from 1-12. The school is a co-educational institution affiliated to CBSE. There are 36 staff to take care of the 790 students. Sr Mary Tanuja, is the Principal of the school.
